Grant Morrison Update

Hi guys, I'm a lurker, but I guess not anymore.

I just wanted to hear what you all think about the latest mini-series projects by Grant Morrison -- SeaGuy, We3 and Vinamarama.

So far SeaGuy was my favorite, just so bizarre and hilarious. That flying fishthing!

The Filth I felt was a bit disappointing, but I reas a real fan of his New X-Men work. The issue with the Beak and Angel in Archangel's flying school was one of my favorite comics in recent memory.

Recently I'm rereading Morrison's stuff, in particular SeaGuy, WE3, and The Filth. (The first two issues of Viminarama have been sold out in my town; so I'm just going to hold out for the trade, I think.) SeaGuy the second time around was fabulous. Especially the third issue that took place on the moon... The talking butterfly, a hero, for having held its breath from Earth to the moon.... Turning the moon because the mummy could no longer stand to look at the destroyed bits of Australia.... freakin' awesome.

WE3 I have to get to, but I think a reread should be nice. A very simple, straightforward little story there. The Filth is quite complex and I'm hoping I enjoy it more in this next passing.

On another note: How amazing is it that all these Seven Soldiers comics will be flying at us over the next year?! Very exciting stuff.
